About Me
I'm a Master's student in Electrical and Computer Engineering, passionate about bridging software innovation with practical hardware applications. My experience spans from embedded systems and robotics to semiconductor research and machine learning projects, reflecting my commitment to exploring interdisciplinary solutions. I enjoy turning theoretical concepts into tangible results, especially in areas like renewable energy, smart systems, and electric vehicle technology.
Technologies I Use:
Featured Builds
Music Visualizer with LED Matrix
This project converts real-time audio into colorful animations on a 10×10 WS2812B LED matrix. Built using an ESP32 microcontroller, the system captures microphone input and performs FFT-based frequency analysis to generate dynamic bar and wave visualizations. The visualizer runs on memory-constrained hardware and showcases embedded audio processing, precision timing, and multichannel LED control using the FastLED library. Future upgrades include Bluetooth/Wi-Fi app control and beat-synchronized pattern modulation, making it a great showcase of both low-level optimization and user-facing interactivity.
Perio-Dx Mobile App
Perio-Dx is a proof-of-concept mobile health app developed in collaboration with biomedical engineering students for a senior design project. The app allows users to input data from antigen-based saliva diagnostics to assess potential risks of kidney or heart disease. Built with Python’s Kivy framework and Firebase for real-time backend integration, Perio-Dx features data logging, graphical feedback, and cross-platform support. While not a production medical tool, it demonstrates rapid prototyping of clinical diagnostics, mobile GUI development, and backend integration for health tech.
Analog Audio Amplifier Circuit
Designed for a circuits course, this project involved building an analog amplifier using op-amps and discrete transistors to boost audio signals without distortion. The amplifier was simulated in SPICE to analyze frequency response and gain characteristics, then physically constructed and validated using a waveform generator and oscilloscope. It taught practical tradeoffs in signal integrity, component tolerance, and analog layout, offering hands-on experience with lab instrumentation and classic audio engineering principles.
Solar Drone for Remote Sensing
This project involved retrofitting an old RC quadcopter with a solar charging solution to extend flight endurance in sunlight. After losing the original charger, the drone was repurposed with lightweight solar panels and onboard power management to trickle-charge its battery, serving as a testbed for off-grid UAV concepts. While the system remains RC-controlled, the project highlights creative problem-solving, renewable energy integration, and system-level engineering. It’s a strong example of sustainability-focused innovation applied to embedded systems.
Research & Technical Writing
Challenges and Opportunities with Gate-All-Around Transistors
Explores fabrication and reliability challenges of GAAFETs versus FinFETs and proposes material and design strategies for sub-3nm logic.
Survey of Contamination in Language Model Benchmarks
Investigates benchmark contamination in LLMs via TS-Guessing and Local Order Quiz, revealing memorization in high school math tasks.
